Eldon is CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Atomica. 

He joined Atomica in late 2018 as the Chairman of the Board and has spent the past 5+ years supporting the transformation of the company. Prior to Atomica, he spent over 30 years as CEO of Allegro Development, a highly successful enterprise software company. During his tenure, Allegro experienced extraordinary growth, generating a 57% average annual return for its investors. Eldon is also currently the Chairman of Cerium Investment Group, targeting early-stage energy, financial technology, and IoT companies.

Eldon has Bachelor of Science degrees in both Electrical and Chemical Engineering from Tulane University.

Jim is the Chief Financial Officer of Atomica and leads all accounting and finance related activities.

He has over 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, investment banking, private equity and Fortune 50 corporate strategy/M&A and has been the investor, advisor or strategic acquirer in more than 40 closed transactions. In particular, he has been instrumental in helping growth companies develop their strategies and scale their businesses.

He has worked at Fortune 50 companies such as The Home Depot and also managed two tech focused private equity funds with Ken Langone at Invemed. Earlier in his career, he worked as an investment banker at Credit Suisse First Boston and at Arthur Andersen where he earned his CPA.

Jim graduated with Honors from the Haas School of Business Undergraduate Program (UC Berkeley).

Darwin is Senior Vice President of Operations at Atomica and leads process engineering, equipment maintenance, operations, facilities, EHS, and IT departments.

He joined Atomica in 2022 and brings over 25 years of microelectronics process, device, and advanced materials experience leading R&D and manufacturing for a breadth of applications in semiconductor, display, 5G telecom, and consumer electronics. Prior to Atomica, he led process engineering for Wolfspeed launching the world’s first fully automated 200mm SiC fab. Before that, he served as the Director of R&D for SunEdison Semiconductor (now GlobalWafers) and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering at Knowles Precision Devices. He holds 30+ patents in microelectronic materials and devices.

Darwin holds a PhD in Engineering, Semiconductor and MSEE from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS), and a BSME from the University of Oklahoma. He holds 30+ patents in microelectronic materials and devices.

Brian is the Chief Technology Officer of Atomica and oversees the success of our diverse MEMS programs.

He joined Atomica in 2018 and was VP of Engineering leading our development team before become CTO. Prior to that, he was at Freedom Photonics where he worked to improve process and performance of photonic devices, including lasers, photonic integrated circuits, and high speed photodiodes. At Intel before that, he was an integral member of the eNVM MRAM development team, a technology for which he holds 8 patents. He also worked on a transistor technology node from early development through product launch.

Brian has a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of California at San Diego.

Scott is the Senior Vice President of Sales at Atomica where he leads our global sales teams.

He joins Atomica from Rockley Photonics, where he was SVP of Strategic Sales leading commercial engagements for its silicon photonics, non-invasive biosensing solution. Prior to Rockley, he was with Si-Ware Systems, managing worldwide sales and marketing, where he grew the company’s position in ASICs for MEMS devices, in addition to commercially launching its NeoSpectra MEMS spectrometer business. He has lead commercial efforts for other MEMS companies including inertial sensors and resonators.

Scott holds an MBA and BSEE in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California.

Steve is the Vice President of Marketing at Atomica with a specific focus on transforming all things digital.

He brings over 20 years of global experience in marketing, sales and communications in such diverse industries as luxury automotive, fashion, medical device, pharma, skin care, electronics and aerospace in the U.S., Asia (Japan), and Europe. He’s had the pleasure of working with such prestigious brands as Maserati, Audi, Ducati, Pirelli, Apple, Hermes, Chanel, Shiseido, Medtronic, Allergan, The Ritz Carlton and the Mandarin Oriental. He’s also led change at industry leaders such as NuSil Technology (material sciences for medical/space applications) and Trelyst (drug delivery). Through it all, he’s mixed his passion for great story telling and brand building with the power of the latest marketing technology.

Steve has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Psychology from the University of Michigan and is semi-fluent in Japanese.

Seena is the Vice President of Product Development at Atomica and oversees R&D initiatives.

He began his career bringing new technologies to market for startups such as Peregrine and Silanna Semiconductor where he developed RF Silicon on Sapphire (SOS), Silicon on Insulator (SOI), and power devices on SOI. Prior to joining Atomica, he launched Menlo Micro’s MEMS switch (cantilever beam on glass) as their Product Engineering Lead. He leverages his deep knowledge of MEMS/CMOS processes, device operations and application use to scale products from nascent ideas to full-scale production more effectively. He joined Atomica as Director of Product and Test Engineering in mid 2021.

Seena has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on solid-state devices and photonics from the University of California, San Diego.

Rafiur is the Vice President of Fab Operations and oversees all aspects of MEMS production and wafer fabrication.

He brings 20 years of experience in Semiconductor & MEMS Wafer Fabrication, working in various roles, including managerial and engineering leadership. Prior to starting at Atomica, he served as a Fab Manager (Process Engineering & Operations) at Macom Technology Solutions. Before joining MACOM, he worked at BAE Systems Inc (Electronic Systems), Analog Devices Inc (Micromachined Products Division), Advanced MicroSensors, and Kayaku Advanced Materials.

Rafiur holds an MBA from Bentley University, as well as a BS in Microelectronic Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Zouhair is the Vice President of Process Integration at Atomica and leads the process integration department.

He joined Atomica in 2023, bringing with him over 30 years of experience in MEMS and microelectronics process integration across various industries, including semiconductors, BioMEMS, automotive, and consumer electronics. Prior to joining Atomica, Zouhair led the MEMS advanced process development team at Knowles, where he played a pivotal role in developing the next generation of MEMS microphones. Before his tenure at Knowles, he served as the Director of MEMS Process Integration at GlobalFoundries and as the Director of New Product Introduction at Invensense (now TDK Invensense).

Zouhair holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Paul Sabatier University (Toulouse France), He holds 10+ patents in MEMS and Microelectronics.

Sergey is the Director of Process Engineering and leads MEMS 3D Substrate Engineering at Atomica.

He joined Atomica in 2023, bringing with him over 25 years of management experience from esteemed organizations such as Advanced Micro Devices, Applied Materials, KLA-Tencor, and Cornell University. Throughout his career, he has spearheaded research and development initiatives and led new business ventures in various domains including semiconductor equipment, CMOS IC electronics, EV battery technology, solar PV devices, e-beam metrology, laser ablation patterning, MEMS metallization, Cu damascene, and TSV methods. Currently, Sergey also serves as the Principal Investigator for Atomica Nanotech projects at UCSB’s Nanofabrication Facility.

Sergey has a Ph.D. in Solid-state Electronics and Microelectronics, along with an M.S. in Electrical Engineering specializing in semiconductors and dielectrics from Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics.

Khamsidi is the Director of MEMS 3D Surface Engineering

He joined Atomica in 2023 after pivotal roles at Skorpios Technologies, Novati, SVTC, ATDF (Advance Technology Development Facility), Aviza Technology, SVG-ASML, Watkins Johnson, TECH Semiconductors Singapore, and Texas Instruments Singapore.

Khamsidi’s expertise lies in thin film processes and equipment engineering, where he has amassed extensive knowledge in various technologies including PECVD, APCVD, ALD, PVD, LPCVD, Evaporation, RTA, as well as involvement in dry etchers and back-end processing. His career trajectory began in 1992 as a crucial member of a core start-up team at an advanced 8″ DRAM Wafer Fabrication facility, where he served as a Thin Film process and equipment engineer, setting the stage for his illustrious career in the industry.

Khamsidi holds a Bachelors of Electronic Engineering from Curtin University of Technology in Australia.

Duan is the Director of EHS and Facilities at Atomica and is in charge of critical infrastructure management.

He joined Atomica in 2023, bringing with him over 17 years in facility, EHS, security and maintenance experience in a variety of manufacturing operations such as Implant Direct, ColourPop Cosmetics, Direct Relief and Citrix. He is responsible for the strategic planning of facilities management and EHS programs as well as the critical infrastructure that supports Atomica’s manufacturing processes, including chillers, steam boilers, nitrogen generator, DI water plant, Central vacuum system and process air systems. Beyond that he is in charge of ensuring the safety, functionality, and efficiency of facilities and ensuring a healthy work environment.   

Duan spent the first 24 years of his career in the United States Marine Corps and retired as a Master Sergeant.
