Director of Facilities and Maintenance

General Description

  • Candidate will manage a group of direct facilities, janitorial, and safety personnel
  • The ideal candidate will serve a significant role on the IMT strategy team to develop and guide long-term growth planning, including capital equipment budget and equipment selection
  • Manage facilities and safety personnel
  • Perform and manage improvements and repairs on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • New facilities and equipment installations, including fab space planning
  • Safety improvement
  • Permit submission and renewal/maintenance
  • Oversee waste disposal activities and waste water treatment system
  • Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and regulators
  • Respond to tenant issues based on scope of lease
  • Regulatory compliance: e.g., APCD, SWRCB, County CUPA, Cal OSHA, DTSC
  • Mentor and develop maintenance team

Work Experience, Education, and Physical Requirements

  • Hands on working knowledge of facilities operations, including troubleshooting and repair of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pneumatics systems, and safety
  • Working knowledge of cleanroom environmental requirements and maintenance activities
  • Good management skills
  • Understanding waste disposal procedures and wafer fab equipment
  • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
