IMT’s fully automated MEMS production fab is built to meet your volume needs on 6″ and 8″ wafers.  Unlike a CMOS fab, our strength is in materials flexibility for metals, polymers, and other materials, as well as experience with silicon, SOI, glass (fused silica, quartz, borosilicate), and III-V substrates.

We operate a 30,000 square foot Class 100 clean room on our 13 acre manufacturing campus with 165,000 square foot of building space. IMT is ISO 9001 (certified since 2006) and has nearly completed implementation of IATF 16949:2016. We are also currently working toward GLP and GMP. IMT is also ITAR certified.

IMT is located in Goleta, California near the campus of the University of California, Santa Barbara, one of the top engineering universities in the world. The benefits to our customers are two fold.
